There
As a sequel to the previous collection, "THERE" is a continuing story about the journey of education. Making success its focus, it questions the social perceptions and mindsets in Nigeria surrounding success and how it influences career choices.
The narrative begins with the beauty of books and education and the promise of a better life they offer, but it also speaks to the current economic climate in Nigeria and the disappointment facing young graduates, as illustrated with splotches, distressed pockets of pants and embellishments inspired by the artist Dan Dunne’s bitumen paintings. However, it still acknowledges the optimistic spirit of Nigerians as it holds unto hope like a flower.
